“I am writing on behalf of the Weatherby Lake Community Activities Group, formerly known as The Family’s Club.  The WLCA is so very grateful to be recipient of the 2023 LWCB grant money.  We have successfully introduced a new event:  WL BBQ Competition in June with over 250 attendees!  The grant enabled the WLCA to move forward with this new event and no financial worries during the planning of this free community gathering.  Additional community engagement events are also being planned, such as the End of Summer Ice Cream in the Park, scheduled on Friday, August 16th.  The WLCA will be giving away free ice cream treats to all who attend the final season concert in the Park at Cristhaven…”
