Internships

The internship is an idea that came from various board discussions, that would provide a Weatherby Lake youth the opportunity to help lead within their very own community. 

The Brigade is in pursuit of a high-energy, organized, and social high-school student motivated to bring their peers together to support the many community programs and activities at the lake. The role involves building a dialogue with other high school students who are looking for opportunities to volunteer and benefit their community and communicating with Weatherby Lake organizations to determine how the identified volunteers can best support programs and projects. Additionally, the intern will assist with documenting these events through photos and potential interviews. The intern will work closely with Brigade board members to support and enhance the many wonderful events happening around Weatherby Lake, making this a dynamic and engaging role for someone passionate about community involvement and volunteer coordination.

We are now accepting applications for an intern whose term will run from June 2026 until June 2027.  Applications are due by 04/24/2026.  If you would like to volunteer please fill out the application below.
